In the rolling hills of the Lot et Garonne are our holiday homes La Bohème and Une belle histoire. Both named after classical and romantic French chansons. Here you will experience the South of France through the luscious views, the charming brocante courtyard, the stone houses (as the French call them, "en pierre"), dazzling starry skies, beautiful nature, old bastides and especially: lots of space.
Enjoying outdoor life
Both houses have their own terrace, allowing you to take full advantage of the beautiful summers in Southern France. Both houses are decorated to feel bright, with a warm atmosphere to immediately make you feel at home. Both have an interior in natural tones in a mix of rural modern, with a bit of a bohemian vibe. The view from the garden is, as the French say, magnifique.

You can rent both houses, making you and your group all alone on the terrain. La bohème is suitable for 6 people and Une belle histoire for 5 people.

After successfully renovating and renting tasteful flats in the French countryside, the owner of Bassivière has taken on a new project: two old barns on the estate where she herself lives for a few months in the summer have been transformed into beautiful holiday homes, where rural style meets contemporary design. Enjoy a relaxing holiday here in the exceptional surroundings of Lot-et-Garonne!
Upon entering, you will be greeted by plenty of natural light and tasteful, sophisticated décor. The interiors are characterised by Scandinavian simplicity and elegant accessories. In both houses you will find beautiful wooden furniture, terracotta pots, wicker baskets and carefully selected linen. The two houses sleep 4-6 people and are located on rolling green hills. From the living room and terraces you will have panoramic views over the picturesque French countryside.
